In 2011, the resident technician will go to the Arctic Circle to stake claim to icebergs with the Knock on Woods tree-flags. In this ultimate planting of the forest, the flags will drift aimlessly, declaring shifting and unstable territories, out of the resident technician's control.

At the same time, the resident technician will burn the archives from this decade-long project. From the plumes, the stories of Dwelling for Intervals will arise and make their way to the heavens where all claims will be set free.

This marks the beginning of something new!
