Arnold holed up in the cabin for an intensive bout of getting far away from Rotterdam and urban distractions. Among other things he read aloud from an old journal he had written, documenting his wilderness adventures at Lake of Woods, Canada back in 1995. Arnold recorded this reading via webcam and a copy was left in the official resident’s box (under the bed).
Arnold survived the 4°C night.
Afraid for bears, chainsaws or cold temperatures? I'm not sure but Arnold didn't come out of the cabin until it was light out again.
