Knock on Woods with Isaac Flagg

"so my thought is maybe i could dig a big hole under the floor of the tent. just to see what's down there. i've considered sorting the soil and rock and putting it back in a certain order, or cutting out furniture, or painting the interior of the hole, putting something new down there, but in the end i'd like to just dig a hole and fill it back up."

"i dont have a cv prepared of anything like that but i can assure you i've dug a lot of hole in the last few years. i would be able to ride my bike out to the site with a small spade and maybe a mattock on the weekend or maybe during the week if necessary."

"to take such familiar work out of the regime of capital, to refunction it momentarily, to make the usual day-to-day compromised labour playful and exploratory -- i think thats a relevant activity for at least four hours. i could read a bunch of conceptual depth into the details of the "work" if you want but the sense i got from charlie is that this is more of a pick up and run with it kind of show. he said he's going to just make coffee and drink it."
